Luke Bacon

Luke Bacon is an independent designer and software developer committing acts of journalism and supporting people working towards more critical, just, and sustainable worlds.

Luke is a janitor at Frontyard and resident at 107 Projects on Cadigal land (Sydney, Australia). He was previously a civic hacker at the OpenAustralia Foundation, a mentor in the Outreachy FOSS internship program, co-creator of Detention Logs, has taught at the University of Technology, and has presented at events and conferences around the world including The Impacts of Civic Tech Conference (London, Florence, Taipei), Linux.conf.au (Hobart, Sydney), and the Australian Society of Archivists Conference (Christchurch).
