Yoshi Fajar Kresno Murti

Yoshi Fajar Kresno Murti, merupakan seorang praktisi tukang ugahari – semacam melakukan praktik dan wacana arsitektur yang mengulik, mengambil posisi, dan menggunakan cara pandang anarki dalam (ber)arsitektur. Sejak lama aktif bergelut dengan praktik-wacana ruang, kampung, kota melalui berbagai media dan komunitas. Tinggal di Yogyakarta, menjadi board member dari IVAA (Indonesia Visual Art Archive) Yogyakarta dan pendiri dari Sekolah mBrosot (Museum Bergerak 65), serta pendiri Galeri Lorong. Semuanya ada di Yogyakarta.

Yoshi Fajar Kresno Murti is an architect, lecturer, and researcher who has long been involved in organizing, documenting, and advocating for urban kampung spaces. Since 2009 onward he has been the coordinator of research and program development at the Indonesian Visual Art Archive (IVAA), Yogyakarta. He works independently as an architect with a process-based form of architecture called “Ugahari”, and has been involved in a number of collaborative projects building houses, community spaces and public buildings. He is the author of a book of catalog data Art and Social Issues (2011), and The Pating Tlecek Architecture Space (2012), and as editor of book Arsipelago: Archival Work & Archiving Art & Culture in Indonesia (2014).
